A
great wine list is like a work of art. It offers contrast,
color, beauty and depth of character that invites endless
interpretation. At John Ash & Co., every wine on our extensive
list is selected to complement the food we serve.
Many of our wines are crafted by local winemakers whose vineyards
share the land with the gardens and orchards that supply our
chef with fresh fruits and vegetables. These wines offer a
natural pairing with our flavorful Sonoma County cuisine.
A great wine list also reveals a balance of style, vintages,
wine regions, personality and, yes, opinionsome wines
are on the list simply because we love them!
For me, the real fun is choosing wines that are unexpected;
wines from unique places or great estate wines.
And while
we're proud of our library wines, you don't have to order
a
rare or exotic wine to experience the exhilaration of wine
and food pairing. John Ash & Co. offers wines that are
both
wonderful and affordable.
Each
week there are new wines by the bottle and glass
all of them enhanced by food pairings from our menu.
New wines
are selected by our in-house tasting panel.
We meet regularly, gathering around the wines to talk
about them and taste them with our chef's dishes.
We believe this attention gives us the best chance at
creating the most compelling wine list in wine country.

summer and refresh.
