Friends,
Summer
is the season for taking life a little more slowly. Spending
more time with family and friends. Lingering over a meal that's
so fresh you can taste the sun in every satisfying bite. Working
in your garden more, working at your
desk less.
At least, that's what we do between meetings, appointments,
errands and all the rest of life's responsibilities that never
take a summer vacation. These next months are really about
combining more pleasure with business, and that's what we've
tried to do at Vintners Inn and John Ash & Co.
At our restaurant, we're offering Executive Lunches featuring
the inspired Sonoma County cuisine of Chef Jeffrey Madura.
Come enjoy our wisteria-covered terrace overlooking our lush,
colorful gardens and vineyard. Lunch on fresh coldwater salmon,
crisp fried calamari with spicy Thai dipping sauce or a gorgeous
salad, bursting with fresh from the garden greens and sun-ripened
fruit and vegetables. Pair your plate of choice with one the
refreshing, effervescent summer wines we've added to our menu.
If, after lunch, you don't feel completely rejuvenated, it
may be time to consider taking a long weekend.
Vintners
Inn, our vineyard retreat adjacent to John
Ash & Co. is just a stroll away. Next to our 90-acre
vineyard, it is the perfect place to restore, relax and remember
it's summer.
However you spend the coming months, we hope it is joy-filled,
memorable and long enough to take in a sunset or two.
