Stopping at local wineries is one of the great pleasures of visiting Sonoma County.
Vintners Inn is centrally located with easy access to many wine regions (called appellations)
including: Russian River Valley, Dry Creek Valley, Alexander Valley, Chalk Hill, Sonoma Coast,
Bennett Valley, Sonoma Mountain, Sonoma Valley, Los Carneros, and more. The entire Napa Valley,
with towns like Calistoga, St. Helena, Yountville, and Napa, is just over the hills about 30 minutes away.
Many wineries are open daily to the public. Some are larger, well-known wineries with grand tasting
rooms, magnificently landscaped gardens, special tours, and picnic facilities. Others are small,
boutique wineries where you may find yourself talking directly with the winemaker. Each tasting
room is happy to welcome you, pour their latest releases (many of which you can't find in your
neighborhood stores), and help you learn more about wine.
We have maps and information available to make touring and tasting at our world-class
wineries easier. When you're ready to plan your day's adventures, stop by the front desk—and be
sure to ask us about special deals and promotions with our partner wineries.
